Overview

The K-12 academic technology curriculum at The Steward School is guided by six threads from the National Educational Technology Standards (NETS) for Students (http://cnets.iste.org/students/s_stands.html), which were developed by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). Within each thread lies a wide range of topics and the content, depth, and delivery is adjusted to be developmentally appropriate for each grade level. Skills are typically learned through co-curricular activities and projects within the core academic curriculum. Topics within each thread are taught at every grade level to provide continuity throughout the program.
