The Upper School
is richly diverse in its curriculum and activities. This
diversity provides ample opportunity for students
to personalize a course of study and
to pursue academic and extra-curricular interests. At
a stage when many students are "on their own" in
a large environment, our faculty and staff work
closely with students as they build their transcripts
for college.
The Upper School at Steward consists of slightly
less than 200 students in Grades 9-12. Our small classes allow
teachers to involve every student,
to monitor progress closely, and to be accessible for
extra help. Within these small groups, our teachers can
focus on student needs and adjust
instructional methods to accommodate a variety of learning
styles. Steward provides a safe and supportive environment
for students to explore their
potential.
