The Annual Fund Campaign helps to ensure that every year each student receives the best educational experience at Steward.

What is the Annual Fund? Why is it important?
Every private school in America conducts an annual giving program to fund operational needs that are not covered by tuition revenue. Full tuition pays for only 85 percent of the actual cost of educating students in most private schools.

Why don’t we just raise tuition?
There are several reasons why we do not raise tuition. First and foremost, Steward should remain affordable for as many families as possible. Second, donations to Steward are tax-deductible.

The Steward School Annual Fund Campaign:
The Annual Fund Campaign is comprised of unrestricted and restricted charitable gifts which bridge the gap between tuition and the true cost to educate each student. At Steward, that gap is approximately $3,000 per child.

Gifts to the Annual Fund are used to support:

Academics
Field trips, science lab materials, technology, books for our libraries, faculty professional development

Arts
Theatre equipment, costumes, paints, canvases, clay, art supplies

Athletics
Uniforms, equipment, referees, coaches

And so much more!

Thanks to contributions from generous donors like you, we are able to make a difference in the education and growth of each and every child at The Steward School.

What is the Founders Society?
The Founders Society is a group of individuals, families, and friends who have been identified as those with a genuine interest in making The Steward School a priority in their annual giving. Members of the Founders Society are distinguished by their unrestricted gift(s) of $1,000 or more to the Annual Fund Campaign. This society is the group that sets the pace and continues the legacy of the School for generations to come.

When does the fiscal year end?
Donors are welcome to make a contribution or pledge throughout the fiscal year. All pledges are to be completed by June 30, 2007, the end of our fiscal year.
