Administration Building

Located in western Henrico County on 37 acres, Steward
has five academic buildings, an athletic center, a fine arts center,
two
athletic fields, and six tennis courts.
The Steward School moved to its campus at Gayton and Ryandale Roads
in January 1973. The original structure, Dixon Hall, included classrooms,
a library, a multi-purpose room, and administrative offices. The building

A small two-room structure was built in 1974 to house arts and sciences.
Additions in 1982 and 1988 expanded the structure, which is now part
of
the Middle School building. Read more>
In 1993, G. Thomas Taylor Hall was completed to serve as the math/science
building. Cosby Hall, a major addition to Taylor Hall was completed
in
1999. Taylor Hall and Cosby Hall now house the Upper School. Read more>
When the new Athletic Center was completed during the summer of 2000,
the old gymnasium built in 1977 was torn down. Read

The Paul R. Cramer Center for the Arts opened in the fall of 2002, establishing
a dramatic focal point for the rapidly-growing campus of The Steward

Completed in 2002, the Library/Administration building includes administrative
offices, school store, board room, language lab, and library.
