Registration & Confirmation
Registration for The Summer Experience begins on Monday, February 4. Camp and class sizes are limited, so be sure to register early to reserve your space.  All registration fees must be paid in full at the time of registration.  Registrations will not be processed without payment.

A confirmation e-mail will be sent to all campers' parents/guardians upon receipt of registration which includes a letter of drop-off and pick-up locations, supply lists (if necessary), and other pertinent information. For additional information, please contact Summer Experience staff at 740-3394 or by e-mail at summerexperience@stewardschool.org.

Cancellation of Classes
There are minimum class sizes for all camps and programs.  The Steward School reserves the right to cancel any course, program, or activity as necessary.  In such cases, a full refund will be made.  Tuition is refundable only if The Steward School cancels a course or program.  No refunds will be made for individuals who are asked to leave a camp or program because of a violation of camp policy.  No refunds are given on academic camps for any reason.

Allergies
Important notice to parents of campers with allergies: The Steward School camps are NOT peanut, wheat, dairy, or allergen free. We make every reasonable accommodation for campers with allergies. At Camp Steward, newsletters are distributed on Mondays which highlight field trips and foods provided during the week. If your child is allergic to certain foods, we ask that you provide lunch and a snack each day.

If your child is in an academic camp and cooking or food preparation is part of the curriculum, we ask that you discuss your child’s dietary needs with the teacher.

Children who require the use of an Epi-pen for life threatening emergencies will be asked to keep their Epi-pen with them at all times (a small back pack or fanny pack works well). Our license from the Commonwealth of Virginia does NOT permit us to distribute medications of any kind.

The school nurse is NOT on duty during the summer, however, most camp counselors are trained in CPR and First Aid.

Photographs
Unless we have a written letter to the contrary, The Steward School exercises the right to use any photographs taken of individuals participating in The Summer Experience in its promotional publications.

Fees for all Summer Experience programs must be paid IN FULL at the time of registration.
