Applying to Steward

Our goal is to be your partner in determining if The Steward School is the right fit for your child.

While searching for a school can be stressful, please know that our goal is to make the admissions process as smooth and enjoyable as possible for you and your child. The Admissions Committee carefully explores each applicant’s individual talents and strengths to determine if Steward's program best meets his or her needs.

To personalize the process, we invite applicants in grades 1-12 to spend a full day in the classroom. Junior kindergarten and kindergarten applicants have several opportunities to visit our Lower School, meet our junior kindergarten and kindergarten teachers, and explore our classrooms. Please refer to the appropriate grade-level application procedures below to learn more about applying to Steward.

Once all required school documents are received, the student's I-20 will be processed (if needed) and a course of study will be recommended. Ongoing assessment after the student is enrolled may result in a recommended change in resources and services. Since all instruction at Steward is conducted in English, applicants should have studied English for several years prior to enrollment at Steward.
