Congratulations to Steward's VISAA DII All-State Award Winners

Eleven athletes and one coach earned All-State honors this fall, including two Player of the Year awards.
If you look at the rosters for the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association (VISAA) Division II All-State teams, you will see a lot of familiar names. That's because there were 11 Spartans and one coach who earned all-state honors this fall!

  • Field Hockey: Grace Fass, 1st Team; Casie Steinfatt, 1st Team
  • Boys Soccer: James Cox, 1st Team; Sam Roberson, 1st Team and VISAA DII Player of the Year; Trevor Maiese, 2nd Team; Wit Moore, 2nd Team
  • Girls Tennis: Julia Monroe, 1st Team and VISAA DII Player of the Year; Anna Pastore, 1st Team; Anna Caplice, 2nd Team;
  • Volleyball: Madeline Guidon, 1st Team; Kennedy Crook, 2nd Team

Also congratulations to coach Kurt Hammerschmidt for winning VISAA DII Girls Tennis Coach of the Year!
