Standout Spartan: Brooke Frankenburg '30

Congratulations to Brooke Frankenburg ’30, who was named Virginia State Champion in the all-around and vault categories! Brooke, who has been a gymnast since she was three years old, practices four times a week. 

Asked what she most likes about gymnastics, she said, “I enjoy the fun flipping and twisting that we get to do on the event floor.” Being named state champion “makes me feel very proud and accomplished about how far I’ve progressed in gymnastics. It makes me feel so happy to know that I did the best at my level in the state.” 

A Spartan through and through, Brooke said, “I love all of the Steward activities, including Field Day, and all of the teachers make learning really fun. I also love all of the sports opportunities, and gym class is very fun for me!”
