Steward Named Among Richmond's Top Workplaces for Sixth Straight Year

Dan Frank, Head of School
Richmond Times-Dispatch highlights Steward as one of the area's best places to work.
For the past five years, we have been honored to be a Richmond Times-Dispatch Top Workplace. Today, the Times-Dispatch released the 2021 list, and we were thrilled to see The Steward School included for the sixth consecutive year! We are the only school on the list.

In this pandemic time, the award is incredibly meaningful. Our faculty and staff always work hard — this year, we have asked them to work harder. They always put the children first — this year, that’s taken on new meaning. They are the heart of the Spartan community, and we have learned how truly precious that human connection is. While the award is an honor, the best reward is seeing our students thrive.

Top Workplaces are awarded based on the results of employee surveys. Despite all the challenges, our faculty and staff have shown their commitment to our students and this community in so many ways, including in their response to this survey.

To every employee reading this letter, I thank you. And to the students, parents, grandparents, alumni, and volunteers — thank you to you as well. We would not be the school we are without you.
