About the Alumni Achievement Award
The Steward School Alumni Achievement Award is given each year to recognize an outstanding member of the alumni community who continues to live out the Steward mission through inspiration, engagement, or care of others. Recipients will have had a transformative effect in the community, within a chosen profession, or on families.
This tradition was born at The Steward School’s annual Convocation ceremony on September 4, 2014. Alumnus Parke Smith '01 received the first-ever Alumni Achievement Award and served as the ceremony’s keynote speaker, followed by Debbie Goldstone Horwitz '90, Lee Kallman '91, Mary Harvard Nolde '93, Katie-Beth Kurilecz '06, Ted Benson '01, and John Knorr '89.
