You don’t have to be a Spartan to play like one. We are proud to offer two extensive summer programs, both of which are open to the greater Richmond community.
For local Latino students entering grades 8-12, Steward hosts LEAP
(Latino Education and Advancement Program), a free program that enhances the pre-college experience. LEAP students experience four weeks of educational enrichment and fun experiences in and out of the classroom. This grant-funded program has grown since its inception in 2007, and we now host more than 50 students each year.
For those looking for camp-style fun, Steward offers 80+ camps — full-day, half-day, and single session — for children in grades JK-12 at a convenient location
in the West End of Richmond. We’ve got day camps to suit any fancy: academics, athletics, arts, innovation, and traditional-style camps. Most camps are taught by Steward faculty members and coaches, and many others are led by well-respected local companies that specialize in those fields. Our innovation offerings have exploded — from architecture and drones to gardening and cooking, we've got it. Plus, LEGO and STEM camps galore!
