  • Steward X Spacebomb Album

Original compositions reflect the sound of Steward.
What is the soundtrack to Spartan life? Well, now you can listen to a one-of-a-kind album bursting with the energy and spirit of our campus!
"Steward x Spacebomb" is a collaboration between the Bryan Innovation Lab, JK-12 students, and Spacebomb Studio's Matthew E. White, our first-ever Visiting Innovator in Residence.

The album is the result of months of musical magic and lots of hard work. Under the guidance of Mr. White, students wrote and recorded songs, adding their instrumental and vocal talent to the compositions.

The result? Well, turn up the volume and hear for yourself!

  • About the Innovator in Residence

This year marks the launch of the Innovator in Residence program, an initiative that invites creative professionals to collaborate with the Steward community over an extended period. Unlike short-term visits, this residency model allows for deeper, more targeted work with smaller groups of students and faculty — building lasting connections between innovation, collaboration, and learning.

Our first Innovator in Residence, Matthew White, founder of Spacebomb Studio, led an exploration of the connections between sound, nature, and human creativity. Together with students and the broader Steward community, Mr. White captured the voices, rhythms, and ambient sounds that define daily life on campus — transforming them into musical and artistic expressions that reflect the spirit of Steward.

Mr. White collaborated with students and faculty across multiple disciplines, including the Entrepreneurship Studies program and the Bryan Innovation Lab, to bring creative ideas to life. The project culminated in a community-made album, "Steward x Spacebomb," composed entirely of Steward-sourced sounds and performances — a portrait of what it means to learn, create, and connect through sound.
