Offering afternoon care for grades JK-8
The Steward School's AfterSchool Care program is designed to allow students to transition from their school day to an afternoon routine before going home. The afternoon hours for younger students are more structured, while the older students get a little more freedom. Our AfterSchool program is staffed by a caring and interactive staff.

As always, you are only billed for the actual time used. Please contact Chuck.Robinson@stewardschool.org with any questions. Reminder: There will be no AfterSchool on December 15, and there will be extended AfterSchool on September 13 (Lower School Back-to-School Night).

Enrichment Program

Throughout the school year, we offer three sessions of after-school enrichment classes to Steward students. View the latest Enrichment offerings. In the past, our program has featured classes in cooking, watercolor painting, pottery, science, comedy, sports, and more. We offer favorite classes time and again while adding new and exciting ones to our enrichment curriculum based on availability and student interest. Flyers describing the classes are distributed throughout the school year. Classes are held for six-week sessions and typically cost $125 per student, per class. Enrollment is limited, so we ask parents to enroll early.

Half-Day Adventures offer Lower and Middle School students an option besides AfterSchool Care on those days when school is dismissed early. Half-Day Adventures have included golf instruction at Bogey’s Sports Park, a fishing outing with Virginia Outside, and a baking class in the Bryan Innovation Lab.
