Steward parents, alumni, grandparents, and friends are invited to share their expertise with students on November 10 at our Future Me Fair. At the fair, students in grades 2-8 will explore a wide range of careers, connect with professionals, and engage in experiential activities designed to inspire goal setting, motivation, and self-discovery. Learn how you can help! Questions? Contact Jentae Scott-Mayo, Steward’s school counselor.
A makeup picture day will be held on November 11 from 8-10 a.m. in the Carolyn R. Brandt Art Gallery. Note: This is only for students, faculty, and staff who were not available to have their photos taken earlier this fall.
The annual Lower School Library Book Swap will take place December 1-5! Donate your gently used books (easy readers, picture books, chapter books, middle-grade novels, and more) by bringing them to the Lower School library by Friday, November 21. The swap will take place in class throughout the week of December 1-5. Note: The swap is not one-for-one; all donated books will be equally distributed to Lower School students. In collaboration with our Center for Engagement, any remaining books will be donated to Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU. Questions? Contact Lower School Librarian Carlee Smith.
Join the Parents Association for a meeting and social on Wednesday, December 3, 8:15-9:30 a.m. in the Carolyn R. Brandt Gallery. Everyone is welcome! The gathering will feature insights from our guest speaker, Coordinator of Community and Belonging Alejandro Prince. Come share the warmth and enjoy cider, hot chocolate, coffee, and croissants! The festive twist: Wear your most adorably gaudy/festive sweater. Find the full PA meeting schedule here.
