On December 20, the varsity girls basketball team spent the morning on campus assembling 120 bagged lunches for the homeless. All items were donated by generous Steward families, and the team handed the lunches out in person at Greater Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Assistant Girls Varsity Basketball Coach Wallace Inge was instrumental in getting the School partnered with Richmond Friends of the Homeless to complete this project. Thank you to all who made this event a success!
"When you have a place like Steward where you can look into the stands and see your teachers, classmates, friends, and family, that's the beauty of school sports. That's when you understand that you're playing for something bigger than yourself." - Coach Kara Bacile
