  • Alumni Inspiration Day

    Steward's Class of 2024 Alumni Inspiration Day took place on Friday, January 19, 2024. The day features the return of alumni in varied career fields, who are invited to campus for small-group sessions with the seniors. This year's event featured a panel of Alumni Board members who shared advice on networking, job searching, college internships, and post-grad life.

  • Senior Parade

    The senior parade has been rescheduled to April 12, 2024, at which point all our Lower, Middle, and Upper School students have an opportunity to cheer them on and show their love.
  • College Declaration Day

    College Declaration Day Assembly will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, and followed by a celebratory lunch.
  • Upper School Recognition Ceremony

    The Upper School Recognition Ceremony will take place on Monday, May 20, 2024, at 8 a.m. in the Lora M. Robins Theatre. This event will be livestreamed

    Please note: Only parents
     of award winners may attend. Upper School Division Assistant Lee Healey will reach out to those parents to let them know.
  • Senior Transition Day

    A day of special programming to assist with helping seniors on their next chapter is scheduled for Monday, May 20 at 10 a.m. (after the conclusion of the Upper School Recognition Ceremony).
  • Field Day

    Field Day will take place on Friday, May 17.
  • Senior Breakfast and Predictions

    This year, Senior Breakfast/Predictions and Head of School’s Holiday will take place on Wednesday, May 22, 2023. The day will kick off with Senior Breakfast served in the MS Dining Commons Breakfast will be available for seniors and their parents beginning at 8 a.m. in the Dining Commons. Parents and seniors are invited to attend this breakfast, which will be followed by Senior Predictions in Robins Theater at 8:35 a.m

    Note: Parents are encouraged to park on either side of Ryandale Road or in the Lower School lot on Gayton Road. 

     
  • Head of School's Holiday

    Head of School’s Holiday will take place on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. The day will kick off with Senior Breakfast and Predictions.

    Seniors will then have a brief Baccalaureate rehearsal following the Breakfast and prior to departing for Head of School's Holiday. The rehearsal will take place in Robins Theatre from 9:30-10 a.m.

    Dress code for the day: 
    If you plan not to get in the water, please follow this year’s typical school day dress code protocol. If you plan to get in the water, you may wear a bathing suit under athletic shorts and a T-shirt.

  • Graduation Rehearsal

    All seniors must attend a MANDATORY Graduation rehearsal on Thursday, May 23 at 2:30 p.m. Junior marshals will also need to be in attendance.  
  • Baccalaureate

    Baccalaureate will be held in the Lora M. Robins Theatre on Thursday, May 23 at 4:30 p.m. The event will also be livestreamed for those who cannot attend in person.
     
    Senior Baccalaureate Attire
    Option 1
    • A dress, a blouse with a shirt, or a pantsuit
    • Necklines appropriate for the occasion; dresses/skirts should be knee-length.
    • Dress shoes
    • Heels under 3 inches, sandals, or white Jack Rogers-type flip-flops are acceptable (Pro tip:) practice walking in your shoes!)
    Option 2
    • A navy-blue blazer
    • White dress shirt
    • Steward tie (presented at rehearsal)
    • Khaki pants
    • A belt
    • Dress shoes and socks (no tennis shoes, flip flops, or sandals)
  • Graduation

    Graduation will be held on Friday, May 24 at 10 a.m. in the Multipurpose Gym.
     
    Class of 2024 Details:Seniors should meet on Waddell Terrace by 9:00 a.m. for pictures and flowers, and the event will begin at 10 a.m.
    Graduation and Handicapped Parking/Seating NeedsReserved seating for EIGHT guests per graduate is determined by student lottery drawing. Families will be directed to their reserved seats upon arrival. There is additional overflow seating in the back. The event will also be livestreamed for those who cannot attend in person.Parents and guests should plan to arrive early, as parking is limited. The Upper School parking lot will be reserved for handicapped parking and senior students. Families and guests should park in the Lower School lot. We strongly recommend that parents and guests arrive no later than 9:40 a.m. to allow ample time to park and find your seats.Based on the seating lottery that took place in the fall, please see the senior family seating chart here (will be posted the week before Gradutation). Seating of guests will be stopped at 9:55 a.m., and the doors will be closed to allow for the senior processional. If you arrive after 9:55 a.m., you will need to wait until the processional has finished before you will be allowed into the gym.Handicapped Seating:Please contact Executive Assistant Taylor Brewer (taylor.brewer@stewardschool.org) if someone in your family will be attending in a wheelchair. It is very important that we know ahead of time in order to accommodate guests in wheelchairs due to fire code regulations on aisle seats.Senior Graduation Attire
      Option 1
    • An all-white dress or white pantsuit (neckline appropriate for the occasion)
    • Knee-length or long dresses are preferred.
    • White or neutral-color dress shoes
    • Heels under 3 inches; sandals, or dressy, white flip flops are acceptable (Practice walking in your shoes beforehand, including up and down stairs!)
       Option 2
    • A black tuxedo with a white shirt, black cummerbund, and black tie
    • Black formal shoes and black socks (no tennis shoes, Flip-flops, or sandals)

    Event Photography

    Douglas Hinckley '91, owner of Wendell Powell Studio, will be photographing Graduation. Photos will be available to purchase through the Wendell Powell Studio website following the event, and online order information will be sent to you at that time.
