Steward Peforms Matilda The Musical

Thursday-Saturday, October 24-26 at 7 p.m.—Fall Musical

Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical
By Dennis Kelly and Tim Minchin
Directed by Craig Smith

In the style of Dahl’s classic dark humor, Matilda tells the story of a gifted young girl who is not appreciated by her parents or by the evil headmistress of the school she attends. Instead, she finds comfort in her wonderful imagination and in the care of the sweet Miss Honey, and learns to stand up to all her challenges in this witty, fast-paced musical.

Steward Peforms The Outsiders

Thursday-Saturday, February 6-8 at 7 p.m.—Winter Play

The Outsiders
By Christopher Sergel (based on S. E. Hinton's novel)
Directed by Craig Smith

The Outsiders dramatically shows the struggle between the “haves” — the Socs — and the “have nots” — the Greasers — and also portrays how, in the end, we really aren’t all that different from one other. Tough and gritty, yet at the same time heartwarming, this play is a wonderful and insightful show about real people and their struggles.

Steward Peforms Guys and Dolls height=

Thursday-Saturday, April 23-25 at 7 p.m.—Spring Musical

Guys and Dolls
By Frank Loesser
Directed by Susan Sanford

Winner of the 1952 Tony Award for Best Musical and the 2009 Tony for Best Revival, Guys and Dolls takes place in 1950s New York city, where gamblers Sky Masterson and Nathan Detroit are trying to find a location for their weekly game of craps. When Nathan bets Sky that he can’t get a date with prim Salvation Army worker Sarah Brown, we’re off to the races!
