A list of checklists, forms, and reminders about returning to campus next month.
As we continue to prepare for the 2020-21 school year, please review this important information in order for your child to be ready for the start of school. All upcoming school year information is located on the school's website (www.stewardschool.org). All back-to-school information, including summer work, necessary forms, division-specific information, and athletic information, can be found in the Spartan Hub resource board.
These checklists will help you keep track of the forms and required information for your student's division.
Class Schedules and Teacher Assignments
Per the letter you received from division directors on July 24, class schedules for grades 6-12 are available in MySchoolApp. Additionally, you should have received homeroom placements for Lower School students. If you have any questions, please contact your division directors. If you are having difficulty accessing your MySchoolApp account, please contact the Technology department at help@stewardschool.org.
Summer Work
Encourage your students to complete their summer work (grades 6-12). Specific details can be found on the 2020-21 School Year Information section of the Spartan Hub resource board.
Center for the Advancement of Learning
For an additional fee, the Center for Advancement of Learning (CAL) provides one-on-one tutoring on campus during the school day to assist students. Specific information about fees and how to register will be available mid-August. If you have questions, contact CAL Director Yaa Akinfolajimi at yaa.akinfolajimi@stewardschool.org.
Textbooks
Don't forget that all students in grades 6-12 must order textbooks. The MBS Direct bookstore opened on Monday, July 27 for ordering textbooks. Just follow these simple steps:
Your textbooks will be shipped within 24 hours of placing your order. Shipping is free on orders of $99 or more from July 27 to August 3. Please note that shipment within 24 hours is standard, but can be subject to change due to back orders and orders being held for various reasons.
Forms
Please note that all forms are due by Thursday, August 6. Necessary forms may include:
Athletic Physical Form (For all students in grades 6-12 planning to participate on an athletic team; must be dated after May 1, 2020; upload to Magnus Health portal)
Consent for Cognitive Testing (For all students in grades 6-12 planning to participate on an athletic team — complete in Magnus Health portal.)

Athletics
The Athletics department will be in touch within the next few weeks detailing more opportunities for sports this fall. Please note that this information is still evolving and subject to change given the unique circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic. We will keep families informed regarding any updates to our athletic planning, all of which will be made available to parents on an ongoing basis. Thank you for your patience during this time.
Parent/Guardian Athletic Meeting for All Athletic Parents
All parents of potential Steward athletes are strongly encouraged to attend this meeting. The meeting will be on Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 6-7 p.m. via Zoom. You will receive an invite to our virtual option as the date approaches.
