All members of the Steward community are invited to assist in the operation and development of the Bryan Innovation Lab by sharing their time and talents in a number of service opportunities in various educational areas.

  • AfterSchool Care Program and Summer Camp Volunteer

    Assist teachers and group leaders in AfterSchool Care or summer camp programs by presenting hands-on, creative, and productive Bryan Lab activities.
  • Guest Innovation Teacher

    Conduct your own “innovation lesson” with Lower, Middle, or Upper School students in your area of interest and expertise in one or several of the Bryan Lab teaching studios. Assist with demonstrations and special programs. Major topic areas for lessons include: Energy and Resources, Health and Wellness, and the Built and Natural Environments. However, all unique and innovative/entrepreneurial lesson ideas will be gratefully considered.
  • Kitchen Volunteer

    Assist with special events and help keep our kitchen clean and functioning smoothly by lending your home engineering and food service skills.
  • Maintenance Volunteer - Outdoor Gardens and Nature Trail

    Help maintain the outdoor environments of the Bryan Innovation Lab with your botanical and environmental skills. Improve our procedures and programs by adding the value of your knowledge and skills. Assist in maintaining annual and perennial gardens and everything “green” from planting to pruning.
  • Maintenance Volunteer - Reynolds Studios

    Help maintain the Bryan Innovation Lab and its facilities with your mechanical, technology, and scientific skills. Improve our procedures and programs by adding the benefit of your experience and skills.
  • Visitor and Special Event Volunteer

    Assist in guiding guests through the features of the Bryan Innovation Lab and encourage them to interact with hands-on activities. Help answer questions to make a visit to the Bryan Lab a unique experience. Volunteers will attend a special training session to become experts on all features of the Bryan Lab.
