Standout Spartan: Wyatt Roberts '26

The Steward School
Hitting a home run as the voice of Spartan baseball
Listen closely the next time you’re watching the Steward baseball team play. Along with the crack of the bat and the cheers of Spartan fans, you’ll hear baseball announcer (and superfan) Wyatt Roberts ’26 calling the plays. Wyatt, who spent last year training for this role under the guidance of Cam Robbins ’21 and running the walk-up music for the team, says he enjoys everything about baseball and announcing.

“Just being out there, I’m having the time of my life,” said Wyatt. “Cam showed me the ropes about how to run the sound system and when to start and stop the music. I couldn’t have done it without him.”

Wyatt is grateful to the Steward community for supporting his love for all things baseball.

“Just the fact that I’m trusted to announce on my own speaks volumes,” he said. “I know that pretty much everyone here has my back, and I have theirs. Also, thank you to Coach [Director of Athletics Bruce] Secrest for giving me this opportunity. I love every second I’m in that booth.”
