Standout Spartans

Standout Spartan: Benjamin Jones '25

The Steward School
Kudos to this dedicated Eagle Scout

“I started scouting when I was in first grade,” said Benjamin Jones ’25, who recently achieved the ranking of Eagle Scout — the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouts of America program. This great news was included in the May 14 issue of the Richmond Times-Dispatch. To become an Eagle Scout, said Benjamin, “You need determination, and you need to be organized and a good communicator. It also takes three to five years of weekly meetings and monthly campouts." His favorite parts of scouting are the camping and hiking trips.

At Steward, Benjamin plays junior varsity soccer and is a member of the Outdoor Adventure Club. A Spartan since kindergarten, he shared, “I enjoy the community, my teachers, and my friends at Steward.”

Congratulations, Benjamin!
